Enigin And Technology
As a self-respecting technology-addict, I have to talk about the new Apple tablet. My colleagues at Enigin, also being into high tech breakthroughs, found the new apple baby to be pure genius!
It’s basically a large iPhone and you can do anything on it! Watch a movie if you want! Touch-screen obliges, everything is easy to access and we’re now officially entering the era of new technological equipment which not so long ago seemed fictitious and impossible to achieve in the latest Hollywood blockbusters.. Tom Cruise starred in one of those movies, Minority Report, and the technology seemed unreal, right? Well here we are, we’re definitely getting close to fiction with this little gem!
Enigin specialise in energy efficiency, and in such an industry, the need for the latest technological advancements is fundamental - the more advanced it is, the better the performance and the more efficient it will be!
Just like Enigin products, the iPad is efficient! It can do anything you want it to, the possibilities are infinite!
Web, mail, photos videos, YouTube, iPod, Maps, 14000 apple applications… you name it. There’s nothing you can’t do with this thing, and it’s so easy to take around with you! It’s just like a tiny, elaborately high tech PC, or like a large iPhone with more capacity and options.
A techy’s dream!
That’s why I was saying it’s efficient. The kind of efficiency that saves us a lot of time. But what if we could make this object energy efficient too? How can the battery be less energy consuming?
Since working at Enigin I’ve often wondered about how to reduce energy consumption, and products such as the iPhone or iPad are not very energy efficient: their battery holds very small amounts of time, and that means charging every day, pretty much.
Although this product is clearly another step forward for technology, making it somehow energy efficient would be a welcome bonus that I’m sure most consumers would be happy to pay a little more for..
